The sky windows® freeway running rail is seamlessly embedded in the floor, allowing a seamless transition to the outside and thus providing accessibility. The frame completely merges with the floor, creating a level surface with no tripping hazards. In addition, the freeway system is tested, certified and requires no maintenance.
Our systems are equipped with a high-quality multipoint locking system that provides excellent protection against break-in attempts. This locking system is certified according to the relevant standards for burglar-resistant elements and meets the requirements of resistance class RC 2. In addition, we manufacture the sky windows® sliding systems tailor-made to meet the individual requirements and specific installation conditions of our customers. For extended functionality, we offer optional extras including a linear drive, a closure monitoring system with magnetic contacts or safety sensors. To ensure that the highest level of security is maintained, our products are also compatible with a wide range of security accessories.
With specially designed pocket walls, sky windows® can be concealed entirely within the wall. Whether automatic or manual, sky windows® disappear into the wall, opening up a wide, unobstructed living space.
Our system is equipped with a PVC hollow chamber profile, which is attached under the lower aluminum frame profile and ensures efficient drainage. Alternatively, you have the option of choosing a concealed drainage channel that is covered by a stainless steel plate, offering a minimalist design. Regardless of which sky windows® system or combination solution you choose, we will tailor the drainage system to your personal requirements.
Fall protection is necessary for floor-to-ceiling window openings. Thanks to modern seamless installation techniques, the components fit perfectly into the respective architectural design.
We enable the customization of our systems through the use of hidden drive and locking technologies that significantly increase comfort and functionality for the user. Thanks to the motorized design of our sliding panels, they can be easily maneuvered by a remote control, with additional control options provided by infrared sensors or manual dead man's switches. The design allows several sliding elements, which together can weigh up to 2,400 kg, to be moved almost silently into position with just one motor. The use of an automatic control system with the help of a telescopic rail also promises effortless movement over long distances, making even the movement of large glass surfaces an easy task.
